2019 Word of the Year

As the snow is falling yet again on this quiet wintry Sunday, I’m digging into a new book and sipping some ‘Happy Kombucha’ flavoured tea. I have recently discovered my word for this year:

EMBRACE

Fully embrace whatever is headed my way; embrace each circumstance (whether good or bad) with optimism; embrace the here and now; embrace God’s Word and be more intentional with disciplined reading. There are so many blessings and opportunities that I tend to overlook when I’m not fully embracing what God has set before me. So having said that, I’m going to embrace this time I have while the children are napping and enjoy this peace and quiet.
